Well... after our first day here, I definitely know more about the city and the history of the area. Tierra Del Fuego, the province that Ushuaia is located in, was formed in 1991 and it is an island at the Southern tip of Argentina. Here is a map:
.
.We spent the day at the Scientific Research Center here in town. The scientist live in the center full time...ugh. They are doing some awesome research covering topics from tourism and SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT (yeah Marlee) to King Crabs and beaver distribution.

Here is a group picture at the Ushuaia sign...it says¨The end of the World¨ Ushuaia is also known as the ¨gateway to Antarctica¨. because over 90% of the tourists come through this town. With a population of only 65,000 we tourists bring in alot of revenue for them!

here is one more panoramic of the bay..on the other side of the water is Chile and that is the town in the foreground... more to come...love ya´ll!!
